The story was about my personal experience—traveling different cities around the Bay Area. Whether I was at an event, a venue or an art show, there was always some kind of trash or "things" that remained after events were over. I took some of that home and made a journal called “Things We Left Behind.” The route I took between all these events became the visual motif. I tried to figure out the story behind each of the items, and express my feeling by using different typography treatments in each story. The material of the book is also made with the leftovers, such as recycle papers, event name tag sticker frame after people peeled the sticker off, packaging wraps and cloths that was found in the trash can.
